A new early-maturing red skin white flesh variety from HZPC. Carolina is suitable for early production areas - spring crop - as well for storage - fall crop.
General
Carolina has rather large, oblong uniform tubers with white flesh and a nice bright red skin. A good keeper and the skin remains attractive after storage. An early bulking tablestock variety, with good culinary qualities and medium specific gravity. It is rather early maturing and quite resistant to bruising. Vine killing and harvest should not give problems.
